SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION TO SPREAD CYBERCULTURE

The Cyber Security Italy Foundation was awarded the Areté Prize, in the “000, Intelligence of Things” category, with a special mention for its commitment to the dissemination and communication of the culture of security and cyber security.

Collecting the award during the ceremony, which took place on October 6th 2023 at Milan’s Bocconi University, was the Foundation’s founder and president Marco Gabriele Proietti: “I am proud and grateful for this recognition. It shows that as a Foundation we are going in the right direction and so, it encourages us to continue our efforts in this area. Cybersecurity is a challenge that concerns us all, now more than ever. It is and must be a priority for the health and development of our country. The growing complexity of cyber threats requires constant commitment and a collaborative approach to deal with a rapidly changing world. We must therefore proceed to educate and train citizens, starting by raising awareness among the younger generations right from the school benches’.

At the 20th edition, the initiative signals to the business community and public opinion those individuals who have distinguished themselves for effective communication in compliance with the rules of responsibility. In previous editions, the prize was awarded to Luciano Floridi, Alessandro Gassman, Giuseppe Guzzetti, Veronica Berti Bocelli, Don Gino Rigoldi, Daria Illy, Federico Sella, Renzo Rosso (OTB Foundation), Elisa and Sister Rosalina, among others.

“000-Intelligence of Things” is a communication and information project with the aim of spreading the culture of security, the brainchild of Marco Santarelli.
